2014 Partner Agency Relations Conference | May 13th, 2014 | 8:00AM- 4:00PM

Growing Together to Solve Hunger”

Last year, Southeast Missouri Food Bank and our network of partner agencies distributed almost 8 million pounds of food to those in need in our sixteen county service area. Almost 50,000 hungry Southeast Missourians are receiving emergency food each month through this network of over 180 partners. Unemployment and poverty remain high and as a result, need in our communities remains high as well. You and your peers have been doing amazing work responding to that need, often with fewer resources, to continue to serve your neighbors.

This year’s conference theme is “Growing Together to Solve Hunger”. Hunger is a community issue that requires a community response. It is only through a wider partnership of local people and organizations working together that we can hope to create the types of strong, thriving communities that are resistant to hunger. We are excited to announce a wonderful opportunity for SMFB and our partner agencies to explore new ways to collaborate and learn from each other to strengthen our communities:

The SMFB Partner Agency Conference is being held on Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at Studio One Building located next to Miner Baptist Church in Sikeston, MO.  (416 St. Highway H)

Remember, this conference is mandatory for all partner agencies to attend. There will be a limit of 2 representatives per agency. You will have to register for the conference online. Below are instructions.

This day will be filled with opportunities to unite in building stronger, more hunger resistant communities!

We're sorry, the deadline for registering for this event has passed.
